On 8 March 2026, MAP Foundation joined the International Women’s Day celebration by hosting an activity booth at Lan Sangeet, Chiang Mai University. The event brought together people from diverse communities to celebrate women’s rights and promote gender equality. 

At the MAP Foundation booth, the MAP Multimedia (MMM) Program team and the Community Health Empowerment (CHE) Program Team invited participants to join fun games and interactive activities. The teams also distributed educational materials, including books and flyers on migrant workers’ rights in Thailand and community health information in Shan and Myanmar languages, helping make important information more accessible to migrant communities. 

The booth received a very positive response from the participants. Many visitors shared that they were already familiar with MAP Radio and regularly listen to the programs, which help raise awareness about migrant workers’ rights and provide important community health information in Thailand. 

MAP Foundation would like to sincerely thank everyone who visited our booth, participated in the activities, and supported our efforts to raise awareness for migrant communities.
