On 17 November 2025, the MAP Community Health Empowerment (CHE) Program, in collaboration with the Chiang Mai Provincial Public Health Office, Pong Yang Sub-district Health Promotion Hospital, and Pong Yang Village Health Volunteers, conducted a community outreach activity in Pong Yang village, providing health checks and influenza vaccinations.
The outreach focused on providing health education on Tuberculosis (TB), Influenza, and Hansen’s Disease, aiming to strengthen disease awareness and early prevention among migrant workers living in the area. After that, the team offered mobile TB screening and influenza vaccinations, ensuring that migrant workers had accessible and immediate health services.
More than 100 migrant workers participated in the activity, reflecting the community’s strong interest and the importance of bringing essential health services to migrant communities. This outreach also reinforced collaboration between migrant groups and local health authorities, helping improve health service access for the community.
