On 20 September 2025, the LRA program under MAP Foundation organized a First Aid Training for agricultural workers. A total of 25 participants from PongYang joined the training to learn about emergency response and basic first aid.
The training was conducted by Ms. Phitchaya Srinin, a paramedic from Nakorn Ping Hospital, who shared practical knowledge and techniques on how to provide first aid or assist others in emergency situations as PongYang is a remote area located far from hospitals, these skills are essential for quick and effective response for the migrant workers.

Most of them in Pong Yang are employed in farming, where they are exposed to pesticides, chemicals, and heavy physical worker under the heat, which increases the risk of accidents and health emergencies. Through this training, participants learned how to handle such situations and gained the confidence to provide basic first aid assistance.
In conclusion, the training not only equipped workers with life-saving skills but also strengthened community resilience, ensuring that migrant workers can better protect themselves and support one another in times of need.
