The Migrant Youth Empowerment (MYE) team of MAP Foundation held their first “Training of Trainer” (TOT) workshop at Queen Palace Hotel, Mae Sot, from October 6 to October 8. This 3-day intensive training aimed deepen the knowledge of sexual reproductive health among participants and prepare them to become qualified trainers in their own community. There were two representatives from each of the thirteen participating organizations including Migrant Learning Centers (MLCs), Community-based Organizations (CBOs), and former volunteers.

Joint Statement12 July 2018 – We, the undersigned organizations, are deeply concerned about a new crackdown targeting undocumented migrant workers from Myanmar in Thailand, particularly those from ethnic and religious minorities who are vulnerable to persecution if they are forced to return to their homeland.

On 30th June – 1st July 2018, MAP Foundation held the first Women Leadership Training of Trainer event at Chiang Rai. 20 women leaders participated from different areas such as Mae Sot, Chiang Mai, Mae Sai, Thachilek, Ranong, Phagna and Surathani. Topics included trust building, team building, problem solving, power, basic gender knowledge and domestic violence.
